Individual circumstances vary greatly, so before we take on any client we must be satisfied that we can get the results that will pay for our services.

The most common requirements are local sales and marketing.  Selling products is one thing, getting the best price and operating in the most cost efficient manner can be quite different.  We maximise your profits by ensuring that your exporting activities benefit from our experience, rather than finding out by costly mistakes.  To do this we can offer advice and introductions to key intermediaries with established reputations for service at a price that the client can afford.  For example, financing can sometimes be an issue.  If so, we can call upon a variety of sources according to circumstances and needs.

Our aim is to ensure that you are competitive in all the terms of trading, not just price but issues such as credit, payment terms and otherwise hidden costs.

Three steps to market

1.   Market  Evaluation establishes if we can indeed help you to market and win.

The outcome helps us both to see what needs to be done, the prospects of success and resources required.  This is free of charge and without obligation.

If we can help and a client wishes to use our services, we then proceed to –

2.   Marketing  Plan, an essential part of a structured approach.

We do not make our living from writing Marketing Plans!  They serve a real purpose and provide real benefits.  However researching for the Plan may result in a different course of action to that originally envisaged.  At worst it avoids a costly error, at best it shows the way to progress.

Since the relationship is open ended, you are free to change your plans.  A nominal charge (agreed in advance) is payable for the plan if you do not work with us.  If you do retain us, this fee is 100% refundable from future invoices.

3.   Project  Definition / Sales Implementation  

Depending upon the scale of the project we can either do the work directly for you or introduce you to potential agents, suppliers or partners.  We can sell or introduce sellers.  We can manage or introduce service providers.  We can conduct local research, advertising and PR or employ specialist agencies to act on your behalf.  If we do not have experience in an area we will either introduce you to someone whom we know and recommend or help you select a suitable supplier.

Our focus is the SME (Small-Medium Entreprises); we appreciate the need for cost effective, practical help in sales, marketing or whatever discipline is required.

Fees:  our philosophy

How much will it cost?

1.  Marketing  PlanThe fee (including any expenses) will be quoted before producing this document and will cover our immediate overheads.  50% of the fee and 100% of any expenses paid on commencing work, the balance on its completion.  Costs from £250 to £1,500 on average. We will provide a precise quote based on the initial market evaluation.

2.  Project  Definition / Sales Implementation:  Basic fee structure and expenses are agreed once we know what is expected of us.  Clearly defined and timetabled objectives are set out with a fee structure that reflects the workload.  Sometimes this will simply be commission, a fee or a combination of the two.
